Every once in awhile I like to pick up a "real" magazine. I am not afraid to admit that I still love a good paper book or a magazine. I love the pictures, the paper on my fingers, and the element of design used in creating it. I so hope that this type of art won't go away forever or at least while I am still around. :)
One of my favorite magazines is Martha Stewart Living. I was at the store the other day and couldn't resist the January | February 2014 Issue of Martha Stewart Living.
As always there was some great DIY's in this current issue and thought I would highlight them. Only one of the DIY's is mentioned on Martha's website.
1. Fabric Envelope (page 45) - click here for Martha's instructions.
2. Paper Clip Hearts (page 50) - here are some online instructions via How About Orange (one of my favorite bloggers).
3. Paper Flowers (pages 120 to127) - there are pages of how to's in regards to making paper flowers in this issue, but at this point they are just available in the paper issue of Martha Stewart's Living. Some wonderful friends of mine just had a wedding recently and she made them for her bouquet's and they turned out beautiful. Check them out!
